AquaFun

The AquaFun group of awards are stimulating and progressive, aimed at young children (probably between 2-5 years) and are a great precursor to the L2S Awards.

The main focus is on encouraging children to become comfortable and confident in and around water, through structured games, songs and activities. At this early stage of a child’s development, safety is naturally paramount, therefore safe entry/exits are taught and reinforced.

Progression of various skills, such as floatation and basic propulsion, are aimed at encouraging the young swimmer to become more independent and confident as they learn new skills. On completion of each stage, a Kellogg’s Scottish Swimming Award is available to reward the swimmer’s achievement.
