National Swimming Academy

The National Swimming Academy provides state of the art facilities and services for all our swimmers at national, district and club level.

The swimming pool is 50m long and 15m wide (six lanes). It can be split into two 25m pools by a moveable boom. It has an Omega electronic timing system and seating for 250 spectators.

Immediately adjacent to the swimming pool, there is a spacious land conditioning room for flexibility, stability, strength and endurance training.

The large changing and showering area has 18 cubicles and 98 lockers, including oversized cubicles and lockers for use by families and disabled users. In addition there are separate male and female changing and showering areas.

Pool Availability

The pool at the National Swimming Academy can be booked by clubs affiliated to Scottish Swimming, who may choose to hire the entire pool or just use a lane.
