Role Descriptor

Once qualified the holder of the Level 2 Certificate for Coaching Swimming is able to plan, deliver and evaluate sessions.


Pre-requisite

•Candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the commencement of the learning programme
•Candidates must be current members of Scottish Swimming prior to the course starting
•Be holders of the Scottish Swimming UKCC level 1 certificate for Teaching Aquatics
•Be holders of the ASA level 1 certificate for Teaching Swimming post 2002
•Be holders of the ASA Assistant Teacher Certificate (swimming) post 1994

OR
•Have gained exemption prior to enrolment on the learning programme from Scottish Swimming
