Once qualified the holder of the Level 1 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics is able to actively support a more senior qualified / licensed aquatic teacher at level 2 or above, in the delivery of a pre-prepared session.

Once qualified the holder of the Level 1 Certificate for Coaching Swimming is able to actively support a more senior qualified / licensed Swimming Coach at level 2 or above, in the delivery of a pre-prepared coaching session.

Pre-requisites
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at the commencement of the learning programme
Candidates must be current members of Scottish Swimming prior to the course starting
