Content:   

To provide a basic understanding of the role of a Team Manager

To provide a simple guidelines for good team management

To provide "Top Tips" to assist Club Team Managers and DRP Team Managers dealing with young swimmers

Level 2: Overnight Stays & Travel Abroad

Date:         Saturday 21st August 2010

Venue:       Arbroath Sports Centre

Time:          13.00 - 17.00

Pre Requisite: Team Manager Level 1

Content: 

To provide further skills and understanding of the Team Manager role

To develop the understanding of team management and coaching roles and team dynamics

To develop further understanding of child protection issues

To provide and develop Team Managers with basic skills for dealing with young swimmers and young adults in an overnight stay / travel abroad context

NB:

CPD points are available for the Team Manager workshops

If you are under 25 years of age and a member of Scottish Swimming this workshop is free, due to external funding linked to the UK School Games for this age group

All interested candidates please register by completing the application form and returning with fee to: Eilidh McCall-Lawrie, RSDM at Scottish Swimming.

There are a limited number of places so register as soon as possible, please note a minimum of 12 candidates are required otherwise the course will be cancelled.
