An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in partnership with Aberdeen Amateur Swimming Club and associated partners to develop water polo in the city of Aberdeen. AASC is a very successful swimming Club with a clear vision and aspiration to not just be the best at swimming but also to have a thriving water polo programme to give members a choice of activity and the opportunity to progress either at a club, regional or National level.  Working in partnership with Scottish Swimming, Sportscotland, Aberdeen Sports Village, Sport Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen University this role will help the co-ordination and implementation of an exciting water polo initiative in the city.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about sport, who is self-motivated, confident, has excellent communication skills, is a problem solver and able to work under pressure.

The purpose of the post is to drive forward the implementation of the City’s water polo development plan, aimed at increasing participation and improving performance.  The successful applicant will support the continuing improvement of the programme, including income, number and quality of the players and will share best practice and improve communication between all partners.
