This is an exciting opportunity to deliver squad sessions within a competitive programme in Aberdeen. Job share will be considered. Position available: Masters/Open Water Squad Lead Coach (over 18s) [up to 4 sessions per week]. Competitive rate of pay Fitness Squad Coach [up to 4 sessions per week]. Competitive rate of pay. Main functions: Carry out your duties in a professional manner and be willing to cover other squads when required; Attend competitions where required in order to provide feedback and support to swimmers and other coaches (including open water events); Follow codes of conduct and child protection policies; Provide a yearly plan to the head coach and to ensure that sessions plans are prepared and evaluated; Attend training and coaches meetings when required; Attend meetings out with usual poolside duties; Communicate with all swimmers, parents and other participants of the sport in a polite, professional and friendly manner; Complete any task that is considered necessary to ensure the effective running of the club; and Committed to supporting the pathway from Learn to Swim through the club squads and into UoA [University of Aberdeen Performance Swimming] Qualifications & Professional Membership: Membership of SASA; Qualified to UKCC Level 2 Coaching/Swim Teacher or qualified to Level 1 and prepared to undertake relevant training to successful qualification at Level 2; and PVG Membership for Regulated Work with Children or willingness to obtain prior to a formal offer of employment being made Experienced Level 1s may be considered How to apply: Please send your CV to Kelly Finnie, Head Coach at headcoach@bodasc.co.uk Any informal enquiries can be made to the contact as above.
