Background information

Highland Swim Team (HST) is a composite “performance development programme” supporting the development of swimmers from across the Scottish Highlands. HST is based at Inverness Leisure, however swimmers also train with their respective home clubs across the Highlands region. Club representation within HST is divided in two distinct areas:

  1. Central – Inverness ASC, Grantown on Spey ASC, Nairn ASC & Tain ASC
  2. Caithness and Lochaber – Lochaber ASC, Wick ASC & Thurso ASC

In line with the emerging Highland Swim Team strategy, HST is looking to support the overall programme through the recruitment of two performance development coaches – one for each of the two areas outlined above. This tender relates specifically to the delivery of performance development coaching services for the Central area and specific coaching duties for Inverness ASC. The successful tenderer will be expected to work in conjunction with the HST Caithness & Lochaber Performance Development coach to deliver against the KPI’s for the HST programme.

Inverness Amateur Swimming Club (Inverness ASC) is based at Inverness Leisure’s premier facility, the Aquadome at Bucht Park. They are committed to excellence and dedicated to developing competitive swimmers in an enjoyable, safe, structured environment emphasising individual progress, team unity and family participation.
