Inverclyde Leisure are currently recruiting an experienced, innovative and driven Swim School Co-ordinator (please see job description in downloads section).

We are looking for an experienced level 2 swim teacher with experience in managing a Swim School. You will be an inspirational leader, passionate about working with children and go that extra mile to exceed customer’s expectations. Business focused and strive to surpass key performance indicators.

Supplementary teaching hours are available through our extensive schools swimming lesson programme, private lessons, crash courses and learn to swim programme. Unlimited earning potential!

To manage and co-ordinate the Waterfront Leisure Complex Swim School programme including all swimming teachers and customer requirements within Inverclyde Leisure’s Swimming pools, focusing on programme growth and retention and to help in the management and administration of primary schools swimming programme on site. 


  • Experience of leisure management systems & pool programming
  • Experience of managing sales and retention
  • Be highly reliable, self-motivated, enthusiastic and friendly
  • Problem solver and able to work on own initiative
  • Extensive knowledge of swimming techniques
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication with customers of all ages
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Experience/ knowledge of club Management systems
  • Ability to work on a flexible shift pattern including regular weekend and evenings. Additionally, irregular shifts as and when required.
  • Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check
