Carnegie Swimming Club
West Fife
Job Type:
Part Time Novice Squad Coach
Minimum 5 hours plus galas
Dependant on experience
Closing date:

Carnegie Swimming Club, based in Dunfermline, are keen to recruit an experienced swimming coach, or teacher looking to move into coaching, to work at the younger end of our thriving club. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone to help support, shape and develop our swimmers in our novice squads. We would like a minimum poolside commitment of five hours a week and we are offering the chance to really develop in experience and qualifications. We run a thriving swimming club with 170 plus members plus a strong beginner section with c80 children. The club as a whole has swimmers delivering strong performances from local to national level with a number being part of Scottish Swimming’s Youth Development Squad. The club is committed to developing the coaching team and provides support and opportunities to achieve extra qualifications. We are keen to recruit someone with a love of the sport and this is more important to us at this stage than what specific qualifications you have. Many of our coaches have themselves come from a competitive swimming background or through their involvement as swimming parents. If you have a teaching qualification and are keen to move into a coaching role, we will be happy to offer training for the right candidate. For more information or to discuss the role please contact; Alison Lister, or Morag Mitchell,
