Michael Jamieson Swim Academy are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a program coordinator responsible for the creation, development and smooth running of lesson delivery at each venue, meeting both customer and operational demands of the business whilst ensuring our philosophy and values are promoted through daily actions. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Mentor, support & develop teachers & lifeguards within the MJSA team through regular effective communication and face to face support and guidance around delivery, communicating the needs of the team to the operations manager.

• Responsible for managing all instructor & lifeguard schedules including regular staffing and cover across venues, proactively recruiting where required.

• Ensure completion of progress updates from all instructors by the stated deadline each month.

• Follow MJSA Health & Safety protocols including the implementation of NOPs & EAPs.

• Managing all aspects of the venue teaching & lifeguard team, with reference to; onboarding new team members, competency training, H&S protocols are understood & followed.

• Venue standards & risk assessment are maintained.

• Termly 1-2-1 performance review meetings with the delivery team with action reports.

• Maintaining accurate ongoing picture of the business delivery & exploring opportunities to improve efficiency & all business performance indicators.

• Ensure excellent communication with customers is maintained.

• Ensuring outstanding tasks, enquiries & responsibilities are completed on time, updating all key business documents & task lists on workflow systems used by the business. Add value where required to ensure Michael Jamieson Swim Academy achieves our business aims.

Key performance indicators will include, but not limited to the following;

• Customer retention & program occupancy achieves target 90% or above

• Effective team management of personnel, with appropriate H&S protocols during delivery & wider business.

• Progress updates & expected standards of the business maintained.
