During term time, October – End of March (start date potentially delayed due to Covid-19) Provisional hours; Monday 0700-0900, Tuesday 2030-2200, Thursday 1730-1900
Salary:
£10-20 per hour (depending on experience and commitment)

The role will support Strathclyde Sport’s  strategic objectives to achieve greater year-on-year success in BUCS and SSS competitions by coaching the University of Strathclyde Men and Women’s first team swimming squad. They will: Lead sessions at the appropriate level and provide session plans for training sessions they are unable to attend. Attempt to improve technical and physical development of swimmers. Contribute to the enhancement of the student experience through high quality coaching. Give regular overall performance evaluation. Ideally be qualified to take land training sessions if required. (In partnership with the committee) coordinate sessions and help to form teams for league matches and provide feedback.  Make sure all sessions comply with Health & Safety standards (and new Covid-19 Guidance) and application of the law in relation to Equality & Diversity and Discrimination.
