Swimming Co-ordinator (Part Time)

You will assist in the development and effective delivery of the ‘learn to swim’ programme. You will provide a coaching service to the public, monitor the staff providing the lessons, administer the booking of lessons using a computerised system and deal with any customer enquiries and complaints.

You must have an SSTQ –SCQF Level 7 or UKCC Level 2 Swimming Qualification or equivalent, have experience of teaching group swimming classes in the public or private sector and have knowledge of MS Word and Excel. You should be a self- motivated person with the ability to work individually and within a small team and be able to deal with customers in a professional manner. A current National Pool Lifeguard qualification would be an advantage. You must also be able to be flexible with your hours of work.

East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure is a charity with over 400 employees delivering sport, leisure, arts and culture services in East Renfrewshire. We operate libraries, sports centres, a theatre and community facilities. The successful applicant will be an employee of East Renfrewshire Culture & Leisure Trust and not East Renfrewshire Council.
