The role will require a commitment of 4 evenings for training sessions and the occasional weekend day for competitions. Silver Squad is our second highest club squad. Swimmers progress from Bronze Squad, our club entry squad, where they learn correct technique, whilst also developing skills such as dives and turns. In Silver Squad, swimmers will then refine and progress these strokes and skills further, whilst also building fitness, developing understanding of drills and how strokes work, and also have access to a weekly land training session. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Silver Squad and the development of the swimmers within the squad. At the club, we believe that all swimmers can have good technique in all strokes, but realise it may take others longer to fully develop a certain stroke. We will always ensure that if a child is needing assistance with a certain skill or stroke, they will receive the attention they need to help them progress. Hours may be subject to change or may be increased, depending on the development of the squad and club. Salary is dependent on experience.
