The University of Edinburgh is seeking an Elite Performance Swim Coach to join its highly rated performance swim programme.  This is a new and exciting position to help realise the University’s clear ambitions and potential in swimming. 

Applicants should have a demonstrable experience of coaching at international level, but more, a proven track record of medal success at World and European Championships, or Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games. 

You will be a team player, qualified to UKCC Level 3 (or equivalent), and primarily responsible for delivering top class coaching sessions as part of cutting edge year round plan to achieve optimal swim performance.  Integrating with specialist support services, athlete recruitment, serving as a member of the University elite level coaching team and a passion for performance innovation are all further requirements of this hugely exciting role.

The Elite Performance Coach will be expected to work flexibly under minimal supervision, plan/prioritise well and play a leading role in a high performance and winning sport environment within one of the UK’s most highly respected, successful and impressive sporting universities. This position is supported by Scottish Swimming.
