Club of the Year 2018 winners - Kirkintilloch & Kilsyth ASC

We believe that strong clubs can offer local communities a vibrant focus for volunteer and athlete development, essential for creating lifelong participants and local and national heroes.  We have a strong network of clubs across Scotland and we would like to recognise their achievements through our Club of the Year Award.

For 2018, we extend our congratulations to Kirkintilloch & Kilsyth ASC, Scottish Swimming's Club of the Year Award for 2018. Here's a little bit more about the club, as read on our Awards Night by host Lee McKenzie:

"The winners this year describe themselves as more than just a swimming club.  Their vision is to provide an inclusive club, providing a progressive health, swimming and leadership programme to promote confidence, self-esteem, health and skills in a culture of learning, encouragement and support where each individual can maximize their potential.  The implementation of a four year development plan supports this vision along with a committed team of volunteers, coaches, club development coordinators and young leaders."
