Young Ambassador Programme

At Scottish Swimming we believe all of our young members should have a voice within our organisation to help shape what we do in the future. You can get involved and have an impact on Scottish Swimming by joining the Young Ambassador Programme, becoming an Advocate and Ambassador for our sport.

We know that there are thousands of young members in our 160 affiliated clubs who are passionate about their sport and want to stay within the sport to help shape its future in Scotland.

If you are a confident communicator who is reliable, approachable and are passionate enough about your aquatic sport (swimming, water polo, diving, open water, synchronised swimming) to represent the collective views of young people within your club, why not join the Young Ambassador Programme? Here are more details about the role and how to apply:

“I’m really passionate about the sport and also about young people having their voices heard. It’s a really exciting project”

“The Young Volunteer programme gives an opportunity for young people to give back to their sport and also to get more from it.”

Kirsty Ewen Young Volunteer Programme Ambassador
