Wellbeing & Protection Scottish Swimming is committed to promoting the wellbeing of athletes within our sport to allow them to enjoy a positive experience of swimming and to encourage lifetime participation. We are also committed to providing continuous support, training and guidance to our volunteers and staff within this area. Remember it's not just the athletes that we want to protect it is ourselves too. It is a constitutional requirement for clubs to appoint a Wellbeing & Protection Officer (WPO). The WPO is our main point of contact within clubs. Scottish Swimming asks the WPO to communicate useful information, training opportunities and changes in legislation to the club network. Please find Wellbeing & Protection Officer Role Descriptor here (Appendix 1) Scottish Swimming's Wellbeing Policies Scottish Swimming policies are located by topic on the left.
