JACK WARDROP learned to swim at Motherwell Baths alongside his twin brother Bert who was also an Olympic Swimmer. Jack attended three consecutive Olympic Games from 1948 to 1956 and in 1954 he attended the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver, where he won Silver in the 440 yard Freestyle and Bronze in the 3x110 yard Medley.
