Inductions take place in Commonwealth Games years.Nominations for induction to the Hall of Fame must be made to the Company by 31 July, or a more suitable date determined and advised by the Board, for submission to the SASA Council. Nominations may be made by Clubs, Districts, SASA Life Members, Board, Council or National Committees. Nominations should contain full details of the nominee’s aquatic career. Nominees should satisfy the following criteria: a) Have been an athlete b) Have retired from International Competition for at least two years in the Discipline for which they are being nominated, excluding participation in Masters Events. Nominees should have achieved one of the following standards.
