Grace Reid really made her mark in 2016 after a number of highly successful outings at both national and international competitions including the LEN European Aquatics Championships in London all culminating in a debut selection for Team GB at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games later this year.

Reid opened 2016 with a title at the British Diving National Cup in Southend in the Women's 1m Springboard. She went on to represent Great Britain at the FINA Diving World Cup in Rio de Janeiro and secured a second Olympic quota place for the Women's 3m Springboard.

Next came the the LEN European Championships in London which saw Reid leave London with bronze in the 3m Springboard and she became European Champion with World Champion Tom Daley in the Mixed 3m Synchro.

A debut appearance at the FINA Diving World Series 2015 in London, saw her team up with fellow Edinburgh-based diver James Heatly, the pair secured Great Britain a place on the podium after winning bronze in the Mixed 3m Synchro.

Reid made a return to Commonwealth action in  2014, her second time representing Scotland, where she competed in both the Women's 1m and 3m events and finished 5th and 9th respectively.

In 2013 Reid won her first National title at the British Diving Championships in Sheffield in the 3m Springboard event.

A first international call up for Reid came in 2010 at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi where she the youngest member of Team Scotland at just 14 years old and competed in the 3m Springboard event.
