World Para Swimming Championships

The World Para Swimming World Championships took place at the London Aquatics Centre from 9-15 September. GBR had a strong team of 24 athletes competing, four of them Scots: Stephen Clegg, Louis Lawlor, Scott Quin and Toni Shaw.

The championships was a massive success for our Scottish swimmers, claiming 9 of Great Britain's 47 medals across the week. Toni Shaw won six of those, with two gold, two silver and two broze. Whilst Scot Quin and Stephen Clegg secured a silver medal each and Louis Lawlor topped his debut championships with a bronze medal too.
