Scottish National Open Water Championships

The Scottish National Open Water Championships take place over two days on in the middle of August each year. Loch Venachar is the setting, in the beautiful surroundings of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Loch Venachar Sailing Club provide a base for our competition, with the event taking place over two days every summer.

Competitors take part in events from 500m to 10km, along with a 4x500m relay event.

We also have Challenge Events for those who just want to see what all the fuss is about by swimming in lochs!

Our Open Water Championships show that swimming doesn't have to be in a pool to be safe and fun. But be warned, it is highly addictive!

For details of how to enter and eligibility please see the meet information on this page.

Dates: August 10th and 11th 2019.
