In 2013, Ross reached the semi finals of the 100m Breaststroke at the World Championships. Earlier in 2013 he won Gold in the 50m Breaststroke and reached the final of the 100m Breaststroke at the British Gas International meeting in Leeds.

#ILearnedtoSwim with Ross Murdoch

"My earliest memory of learning to swim was swimming with my friends from school and spending loads of time at the bottom of the teaching pool blowing bubbles. I learned to swim at Vale of Leven Swimming Pool and my first club was West Dunbartonshire ASC. I joined because I saw them training in the same pool."
