This pool based session in the 50m pool at the University of Stirling is a two hour session aimed at those who can swim and would like to prepare for the transition from pool to the open water.  It is ideal if you are interested in preparing for a triathlon or an open water challenge, or would just like to meet new people.  Ahead of the open water season, this session will help you to improve your front crawl breathing, learn to swim in a group and support you to get more out of your swimming experience.

Join like-minded swimmers and be taught by experienced coaches at the National Swimming Academy.  The session will focus on basic open water skills and technique, including sighting, drafting and swimming around buoys.  Each coaching group will have a maximum coach/swimmer ratio of 1-12.

Requirements: Swimmers must be aged 16 years and over and be able to swim a minimum of 200 metres
