Come and Try Open Water at Loch Lomond is a 1 hour session aimed at those adults who can swim but have never made the transition from pool to the open water.  It is also for those who have experience in open water and would benefit from a little reminder and a confidence boost.  While experiencing the great venue at Milarrochy Bay, come along and join like-minded swimmers and be taught by experienced coaches on the iconic banks of Loch Lomond.

The session will focus on:

  • Acclimatisation and feel for the water
  • Open water skills, including sighting and drafting and navigating buoys
  • Mass starts and skills practice
  • Breathing effectively in openwater for maximum performance
  • Question and answer session

Each coaching group will have a maximum coach/swimmer ratio of 1-12.
