* Age 17yrs or over
* Scottish Swimming Member*
* UKCC Level 1 Teaching Aquatics or approved equivalent

Course Cost: £600 per learner

Outline:
This is the industry standard for those who wish to teach unsupervised and is essential for seeking employment as a swimming teacher.
This course leads to a vocational qualification designed for you to learn how to effectively apply your skills, knowledge and understanding of teaching aquatics. It aims to provide you with all the skills to enable you to teach non-swimmers through to swimmers of an early competition level. It also gives you the skills to be able to supervise Level 1 teachers.
This qualification aims to provide and equip you, with the skills, knowledge, tools and techniques to effectively plan, prepare, deliver, monitor and evaluate aquatic teaching sessions.
This qualification is endorsed by UKCC and sits on the Scottish Qualifications and Credit Framework (SQCF) UKCC Level 2 Certificate for Teaching aquatics
