Thursday, February 27, 2014 22 Scots head to the DSE National Junior and Youth Swimming Championships Laura Pilkington will be competing at the DSE Championships 1-2 March 2014 "There is a good mix of new faces and experienced junior athletes and I'm keen to see where they are at this point in the season" Disability Performance Development Manager, Paul Wilson 22 Scottish swimmers are heading down to the DSE Junior & Youth Championships this weekend (1st & 2nd March) to be held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield. The young Scottish team will be looking to better their 2nd place finish from last year against strong teams from within England and Wales. The confirmed team is listed below and will be headed up by Andy Jackson (Ren96) assisted by Sharon McIntyre (North Ayrshire ST) and Jeff Tavendale (Highland ST). It's always a good meet in Sheffield and this is often the first chance for our junior swimmers to see what is expected of them as members of a Scottish team."
