Scotland Youth are ready for head-to-head Celtic Duel event in Ireland

A group of 43 young swimmers from 21 clubs will be travelling to Ireland this weekend to represent Scotland Youth in a head-to-head competition with a team from Ireland.

This Celtic Duel will be incorporated into the Swim Ulster International Meet/Dave McCullagh Memorial in Bangor, Northern Ireland. The team is drawn from the Scottish Swimming Youth and Youth Development Squads and this is a valuable opportunity for them to travel and compete as a team for their country.

The trip will be led by Coach Steven Tigg (FIRST) with coaching support from Heather Albin (Glasgow School of Sport); Kris Gilchrist (Warrender Baths); Monica Borland (FIRST). Team Management will come from Gordon Dyer and Amanda Stevenson and National Performance Director (Scottish Swimming) Ally Whike will also be travelling with the team (listed below).

Good luck to everyone competing!
