Strong contingent of Scottish swimmers at British Para-Swimming International Meet

Glasgow's Tollcross International Swimming Centre will host the British Para-Swimming International Meet this Easter Weekend. The event can be followed online at British Swimming's website here

There is a strong contingent of Scottish swimmers attending the event, which is a qualifying event for the Scottish swimmers for the Commonwealth Games, as well as the IPC European Championships later this summer.

The Scottish swimmers to look out for on the first day are Carnegie's Stefan Hoggan and East Lothian's James Clegg in the 100m free, Delting Dolphin's Erraid Davies, Carnegie's Lara Ferguson and Warrender's Scott Quin in the 100m breast.

In the next days watch out for IPC World Championship medalist Andrew Mullen (REN96) in his main events 50m fly and 50m back, where he will compete against some of the world's para-swimming elite like Sebastian Rodriguez and Roy Perkins. Also competing will be Carnegie's Craig Rodgie in the 200m free, the event he made the qualification time already to be nominated to compete in the Commonwealth Games later this year.
