#betterfasterstronger - Countdown to the Games

#betterfasterstronger

#betterfasterstronger – Scotland! With less than three weeks to the opening ceremony of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Scottish Swimming will introduce the whole aquatics team across all social media platforms to get you in the mood.

Starting on Sunday 6 July, when the athletes and coaches receive their kit, we will be introducing three members of Team Scotland:  One for the morning heat, your way to work or school. One for the lunchtime session when you fuel up. And one for the evening finals. So there won’t be a dull moment from now until the Games, when you can cheer on the Team when they compete at Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow and the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh.

More details about our Games coverage will be released very soon, but you can now pre-order your t-shirts to support Scottish Swimming and the Scottish swimmers in Glasgow. They will be delivered starting 14 July, and come in white and blue, nicely fitted and only £11.95. For more details go to our shop.

The best place to look is our Swim Buzz – which brings you all the social media channels in one handy place, so make sure you bookmark www.swimbuzz.co.uk right now. If you want to find out more about the Team, meet them on our website here.

If you want to be more selective, here is where you go. On Soundcloud we will be adding an interview in the morning, afternoon and evening. All will be available in one handy playlist here.

On Flickr we will be adding one iconic image of a team member, again one in the morning, one for lunch and for your supper. Just go here. And if you follow us on Instagram you will get even more pictures, with a nice artistic touch-up!

Subscribe now to YouTube where we will feature a video each day with favourite moments from last events, interviews and more.

On Facebook we will be featuring key moments from Delhi 2010 as our cover pic each day, if you don’t like us so far, make sure you do here.

And more importantly, keep an eye on Twitter and use #betterfasterstronger to share everything and get us trending!
