A Host of Aquatics Stars Attending Annual Awards Dinner

With only three weeks to go we are delighted to confirm that the Scottish Swimming Awards (Saturday 13th September) will be attended by a record number of athletes.

Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist and double European Silver Medallist Ross Murdoch  is looking forward to attending the event:

“The Scottish Swimming Awards will be a great way for me to relax and reflect on what has been an amazing year.  I had a great time last year and know that Kelvingrove will be a fantastic venue for a great night of celebration.

I’m really pleased that so many of my Team Scotland team-mates will be there and I’m looking forward to meeting with the Scottish swimming community and thanking them for all the support and well wishes they have passed to me, especially in the last couple of months.

I hope as many people as possible attend and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Murdoch will be joined by fellow Team Scotland medallists Corrie Scott, Duncan Scott and Cameron Brodie plus many more.

Double Deaf European Gold Medallist, Danii Joyce, who recently set 4 Deaf World Records at the Deaf International Short Course Championships will also attent the evening at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

We are delighted that Steve Parry, Olympic medallist and BBC pundit, is returning to host the event after the success of last year.
