Friday, August 22, 2014 Milne Breaks Second Scottish Record at European Championships Stephen Milne (picture courtesy of Ian MacNicol) Duncan Scott with his Team GB Swimming Team Another hugely impressive swim in the final of the Mens 800m Freestyle secured Stephen Milne's second Scottish Record of the LEN European Swimming Championships in Berlin. Lowering his time from the heats Milne broke the record held by Graeme Smith since 2001 finishing fourth in 7:50.64. After posting a new PB and a Scottish Age Group (17yrs) Record in the lead-off swim of Boys 4x100m Freestyle Relay final Duncan Scott swam sub-fifty seconds for only the second time in the final of the 100m Freestyle finishing 6th in 49.96. In the last swimming event of the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympics, Scott joined Luke Greenbank, Charlotte Atkinson and Georgina Evans in the Mixed 4x100m Medley relay final. The quartet showed impressive form finishing 6th in 3:58.32.
