Second European Silver Medal for Murdoch

Ross Murdoch finished off an incredible season by winning his second silver medal at the LEN European Swimming Championships in Berlin, this time in the 200m breaststroke.

Murdoch looked impressive in the race after coming from third place to take the silver, reducing the gap between himself and home favourite Marco Koch (GER) to just 0.3 seconds. Koch won gold in 2:07.47 with Murdoch powering down the final 50m for silver in 2:07.77. Giedrius Titenis (LTU) won bronze in 2:08.93.

Stephen Milne showed no sign of tiredness this morning after his impressive swim in the 1500m final. Milne looked strong as he finished second in his 800m Freestyle heat qualifying for tomorrow's final with a considerable drop from his entry time (7:56.40).

Over at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Najing Duncan Scott progressed to tomorrow's final of the 100m Freestyle after lowering his time from the heats finishing strongly in 50.33.
