British Water Polo Championships Return to Edinburgh

Portobello will take on Bristol on Saturday evening (31st January) at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh for the 2nd preliminary round match of the British Water Polo Championships 2015.

The British Water Polo Championships are the pinnacle of the national club calendar, consisting of a preliminary competition then a finals weekend for the top four men's and women's teams.

Portobello, who play in the Premier Division of the British Water Polo League, won the title back in 2012 and will look to maintain their recent good form during the event.  To help develop the Scottish National team the Portobello squad will be a mix of the top Scottish players from Portobello and Caledonia.

The event starts from 1945  with the match starting at 8pm and entry to the event is £2 for adults and £1 for children, with the money raised to help with the hire of the facilities.
