Friday, March 27, 2015 Mullen Begins IPC Qualification Campaign Andrew Mullen started his IPC Swimming World Championships Qualification Campaign Today at #BPSIM2015 James Clegg broke the British Record on the opening day of #BPSIM2015 in the 100m freestyle (S12) Perth City's Reagan Doig is gaining experience with every final during #BPSIM2015 Andrew Mullen began his campaign to secure selection to the IPC Swimming World Championships on day two of the British Para Swimming International Meet at Tollcross in Glasgow. Mullen (S5), who won four gold medals at last year’s IPC Swimming European Championships finished fourth in the 50m freestyle ‘B’ final in a time of 35.41/734 points. Perth City’s Reagan Doig (S14) finished 2ndh in the ‘B’ final of the 200m IM with a time of 2:37.92 (761 points) while last night’s gold medallist, Scott Quin, finished 2nd in his 200m IM ‘B’ final in a time of 2:19.28 (849 points). The British Para Swimming International Meet are taking place at Tollcross, Glasgow between 26 and 29 March 2015. The event is one of the largest open competitions for para swimming and has attracted teams from countries all over the world. The event is also be a key qualification meet for the World Championships and will give athletes a chance to compete at Tollcross ahead of the event.
