Scottish Swimming seeks Head of Marketing and Communications

 

Do you have what it take to lead Marketing for Swimming in Scotland?

Following a very successful Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scottish Swimming is now excited and ready to drive forward the delivery of our new Corporate Plan.

Based at the National Swimming Academy in Stirling, the Head of Marketing and Communications will provide leadership, motivation, and vision to the marketing team, inspiring them to achieve further success as a leading governing body.  As Head of Marketing and Communications, you will be the strategic lead on all marketing, communications and sponsorship activity. Your strategic planning, technical knowledge, communication and leadership skills will be vital, as you work closely with key groups to deliver success.

Key Functions:

  • To create and proactively implement a strategy to position Scottish Swimming as a trusted brand for swimming in Scotland across all major target groups.
  • Lead on the development and improvement of Scottish Swimming’s website and social media channels, positioning Scottish Swimming as an early adaptor of new marketing and communications technology.
  • Be responsible for the strategic planning, content and delivery of Scottish Swimming’s marketing strategy.
