Thursday, August 27, 2015 Scottish Swimming Youth Gold Squad year kicks off in Aberdeen Gold Squad The Scottish Swimming Youth Gold Squad year kicks off this weekend with a two-day camp in Aberdeen (29-30 August 2015). 20 swimmers from 14 clubs across the country will be in attendance at the training camp which will be started off on Friday night by National Coach Alan Lynn and will be led by John Szaranek (Carnegie) and Monica Borland (FIRST) with support from Gregor McMillan (COAST). The focus for the weekend will be on competition and race-day routines and is an opportunity for this up-coming generation of talented swimmers to enhance their knowledge, refine their performance behaviours and get to know each other as possible future team mates.
