Scottish Youth Development Squad ready for Christmas Camp

Whilst many of you will be finishing off the Christmas left overs, the Scottish Youth Development Squad will be straight back in to the pool at the National Swimming Academy, University of Stirling as they take part in this years 'Christmas Camp' 27 – 30 December.

Sixty swimmers from across the country, along with 8 staff and home coaches will be attending over the duration of the camp, building on the progress made since the initial camp in September. The main focus will be on training hard and smart, improving skills, application/approach undertaken to all activities and the ongoing commitment to mindset improvement.

National Coach Alan Lynn highlighted the importance of the camp, "Once again it will be fantastic to welcome the swimmers and coaches to the NSA – there is now a collective motivation towards improving as both swimmers and athletes both in and out of the pool. Critical to these improvements is the support of the home coaches attending whom on a day to day basis can make such an impact".
