Scottish Swimming website refresh going live!

We are very excited to be launching a refresh of the Scottish Swimming website having listened to feedback from our members.

The main benefits of the new site are improved search facility, better navigation with a facility to see what content lies under the top menus and a widescreen look and feel to make it more contemporary. It will also be more visual on mobile devices too and In line with Equality standards the new website  complies with more advanced accessibility guidelines making it easier to access for all.

The Home Page changes dramatically to feature video, a News and Events section and easy access buttons to help you FIND A CLUB, FIND AN EVENT or FIND A COURSE.

In addition you will find the ABOUT US section moves to the top of the page and there is a sign up box for our new Newsletter to be launched soon.

The top menu has hover functionality on desktop versions and features new sections for CLUBS and EDUCATION which were previously difficult to find under MEMBERS. We are also delighted to launch two new features for clubs. The first is the new CLUB HUB, an area where we will profile the good work and news stories from clubs right across the country. Just send us your news and images to The second is the CLUB MARKETING TOOLKIT, an online resource designed to help you promote your club and raise its profile in the wider community.

The SEARCH functionality has been improved and will filter results by file type, splitting them into PDF files, word documents or web pages. We hope that this will help you to find documents more easily on our large website.

Other features you may notice is a more visual NEWSROOM with the most up-to-date news and a searchable archive and quick links to the online membership system.

Please bear with us as we experience some downtime on Friday morning 28th April during the changeover and as we iron out glitches and breaks in coding during the going live process. If you have any problems with the new site please contact
