Another medal for Toni Shaw on third night of finals in Dublin

Toni Shaw continues to excel on her senior British debut, picking up a Silver medal in the Women's S9 100m butterfly at the World Para Swimming European Championships in Dublin.

In what was the final race of the night, Shaw set a new Scottish Record for the event with her time of 1:09.18. The 15-year-old was first at the turn, but finished runner-up to Spain's Sarai Gascon, also the European Record holder, come the end.

Elsewhere, Stephen Clegg broke the British Record for the S12 50m freestyle twice, first as he won his morning heat and then in the final of the event, where he finished fifth. Clegg's new record stands at 24.79.

Elsewhere for GB there were three golds and a World record for Maisie Summers-Newton in the Women's SB6 100m breaststroke (1:33.63). She was followed by teammate Ellie Simmonds.

S14 swimmers Bethany Firth and Jessica-Jane secured another British one-two finish in Dublin, as they took gold and silver respectively in the Women’s 100m Backstroke.

Hannah Russell lined up for GBR in Women’s S12 50m freestyle and she tied with Germany’s Elena Krawzow for the 2018 European title, as both touched in a time of 27.94 for a share of Gold medals.

Jordan Catchpole collected his second silver medal of the 2018 European Championships in the Men’s S14 100m Backstroke and touched home in a new British record time of 1:01.71.
