Monday, August 13, 2018 Scottish one-two in Dublin for Quin and Morrison at World Para Swimming European Championships Scott Quin won the SB14 100m breaststroke on the first night in Dublin Scott Quin stormed to victory in the Men's SB14 100m breaststroke final on the first night of the 2018 World Para Swimming European Championships in Dublin, followed closely by compatriot Conner Morrison to ensure a British - and Scottish - first and second place. Quin, always known for a strong finish, had to work to overhaul the lead of Ukraine's Vasyl Krainyhk, who turned in first and looked to be extending the distance going into the last 25m. But the Ukrainian couldn't hold off the resurgent Quin nor his teammate Conner Morrison, who swooped in from fourth at the turn to take the silver medal. Quin and Morrison finished in times of 1:07.21 and 1:07.53 respectively. Elsewhere for GB, Louise Fiddes won Gold in the Women's Sb14 100m breaststroke.
