Monday, March 2, 2020 Grace secures Silver in Montreal Grace Reid & Tom Daley take silver in the Mixed 3m Synchro. Edinburgh-born diver Grace Reid collected a silver medal yesterday in Montreal as part of the FINA Diving World Series opener. Grace, partnered with Tom Daley in the Mixed 3m Synchro, ensured her weekend at the Olympic Park ended in medal success as the pair totalled 309.57 points – just short of the winning 314.52 points from Canadian duo Jennifer Abel and Francois Imbeau-Dulac. This was GBR’s fifth podium performance of the weekend, with impressive dives across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Grace was also paired with Kat Torrance in the Womens 3m Synchro, where they were just pipped to the podium, finishing in 4th place with 281.82 points. Reid rounded off a hat-trick of events with the Women’s 3m springboard, where 283.90 points was just shy of securing a finals spot on Sunday afternoon. GBR’s next event as part of the FINA World Diving Series is in Kazan, Russia on March 20th. The series is rounded off in London just a week later, and you can still get tickets here.
