British Masters Championships return to Aberdeen in 2022

Scottish Swimming is delighted to announce that it will host the British Masters and Senior Age Group Championships at the Aquatics Centre in Aberdeen in June 2022.

The three-day championship is the main event in the domestic Masters swimming calendar and will be held from 17-19 June 2022, with Aberdeen once again hosting the event, as it did back in 2017.

Eddie Riach, Chair of Scottish Masters committee, said:

“It’s great news to hear that the 2022 British Masters National Long Course Championships are to be hosted by Scottish Swimming at Aberdeen Sports Village. It’s a huge incentive for Masters swimmers in Scotland to work towards this event knowing it was such a huge success when held there in 2017.

“The Masters motto is ‘fun, fitness and friendship' and I am very much looking forward to seeing many familiar faces from the UK’s growing Masters community, in Aberdeen, for what is bound to be a very competitive and very fun weekend.”

Entry information and event details will be posted HERE in January.
